Alex is the grandnephew of Julia Child. His grandfather is the twin brother of Paul Child, Julia’s husband. Growing up, Alex and his sisters shared many meals with Julia and Paul, and loved their stories about living in France and discovering its excellent food.
A freelance author based in Brooklyn, New York, Alex has written on many subjects for magazines and newspapers, and is the author of 7 books. He is best known for co-writing Julia’s memoir, My Life in France, a #1 New York Times best seller that inspired the movie Julie & Julia.
Sarah Green was born in San Francisco, California, where she lived until recently moving to Vancouver, Canada. She studied illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design and graduated in 2014. Born Hungry is her 9nth children’s book about inspiring women. She has two cats, Goose and Kiki.
