Talking turkey and Julia with WBUR’s Deborah Becker
Here’s a fun interview I did with Boston’s NPR station today
Julia Child is an iconic American chef. She hosted a number of TV shows, some even shot right in her kitchen in Cambridge. And while Child’s story has often been described as one of a lot of passion and luck, she also was someone who — through determination and grit — reinvented herself later in life.
Her great-nephew Alex Prud’Homme writes about Child’s “second act,” as he calls it, in the new book, “The French Chef In America.”
